The MSB-RX antenna is for use as a home base scanner antenna. The primary element is an efficient, wire-wound design with special built-in traps for better performance in the action-packed 140-170 MHz band. However, the antenna can be used to receieve scanner signals between 25 and 1200 MHz. The primary element is 3 foot (91cm) and white in color. The kit also includes a complet mounting assembly, and three 24 inch (61cm) solid aluminum radials. This base antenna assembles and mounts in a matter of minutes. It can be mounted to a mast, a vertical or horizonatl rail, or to the side of any building or structure.
